Kep is on the south coast of Cambodia, two and a half hours from Phnom Penh, close to the Vietnam border. The drive is easy and along the way you will see typical rural Cambodian villages and countryside.

Directions to Kep from Phnom Penh :

• Follow the airport road out of town (Russian Boulevard) 
• When you reach the large roundabout, choose the left exit. This is national route 3, the road to the right is national route 4 to sihanouk ville.
• After about one and a half hours on route 3 you will drive through the largest town since Phnom Penh Takmou. 
• 10km after Takmou you reach a fork in the road. The petrol station here has good toilets. The road to the right takes you to Kampot, Take the road to the left. 
• You know you are going the right way when after half an hour and two right right corners, you see this amazing view to your right.
• The road quality will deteriorate rather quickly after about an hour on fantastic road. 15 - 20mins later you will notice a statue of a white horse on the left, you need to turn left here. The road to the right continues on to Kampot.
• Follow this road for 10 mins and you will arrive in kep. Follow the ocean road and you will see The Beach House as you round the headland on Kep Beach. If you have trouble finding the beach house, look for The White Lady statue, The beach house is only 50 meters away.
