According to the Ministry of Tourism and the National Police, visitors to Cambodia can now receive visas on arrival at 3 more land border crossings. These crossings are:

Bavet - Moc Bai land border by road between Vietnam and Cambodia on National road No1

Chau Doc - Kham Sam Nor river crossing between Vietnam and Cambodia by boat

O'Smach land border by road between Thailand and Cambodia north of Siem Reap and near Anlong Veng

Sihanoukville International Port (for cruise ship arrivals)

This brings the number of entry points to Cambodia with visa on arrival facilities to 8. Until now it was possible at the international airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, at the land border between Thailand and Cambodia (Aranyaprathet -Poipet) and at the land border between Thailand and Cambodia at Hat Lek- Koh Kong.

The land border between Laos and Cambodia (on the Mekong and by road), which was successfully used by more adventurous spirits in the past year, has been on and off in the last month. We currently advise against using this border crossing due to this unreliable situation.
