Wat International Half Marathon 2002
Issued: 26 October 2002 To Run for Love!! Artificial Limbs for Victims of Anti-personnel Landmines Following the great success of Angkor Wat International Half Marathon in last 6 years. The 7th Event on December 1st 2002 will be held at the Angkor Wat area, one of the most famous temples ruins 9th-13th century of the Khmer Empire era that is well known all over the world. The main purpose of this event is for the fund-support to the landmine-victims after the long-term civil war has been finished in Cambodia. Date: Sunday 1st December 2002 (Opening at 06h30 a.m) Venue: Angkor Wat International Half Marathon Special Established Course in Angkor Area Siem Reap *Recognized by IAAF and AIMS for Marathon Course [21.0975 km] Category of Events Entry Fee: All entry fees will be contributed to the charity activities for victims of landmine (Applicants have an obligation to pay Angkor Entrance fee as USD20 for 1 day, USD40 for 3 days).
