A three-year-old boy is believed to be the son of a dragon in his previous life as the best friend has now is a four-meter-long python.

A sight of a child, Oeun Sambath, curling up inside the coils of his giant serpent attracts a throng of villagers who believe in his supernatural power. His mother, Kim Kannara tells that her child has been playing with the python ever since he could first crawl. Without worry about harm from the constrictor, she allows her son to sleep so close to the python.

As traditional beliefs are still strong in Cambodia, it is not inevitable that this phenomenon must be turned to some kind of supernatural being, prompting a fortune teller to declare that the boy must have been the son of a dragon in his former life.
