Siemreap Airways open new flights Siemreap-Phnompenh

A new company cruises the skies of Cambodia starting on 29 October 2000. SIEM REAP AIRWAYS, a subsidiary of Bangkok Airways, has started flights between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh with one ATR72 (70 passengers). It is based in Siem Reap and flies 1 daily return flight Siemreap-Phnompenh-Siemreap at the moment. Starting from January the schedule will be expanded to 3 daily flights.

Daily schedule:

Siermreap-Phnompenh by FT999 1440-1520H

Phnompenh-Siemreap by FT998 1600-1640H

Rates: ADULT One-Way USD75 Return USD132
CHILD One-Way USD40 Return USD65
INFANT One-Way USD10 Return USD15

Effective 28 October 2000-28 March 2001. Ticket validity: 3 months

Siem Reap Airways is planning a future network expansion with flights to other domestic destinations in Cambodia using Siem Reap as hub, as well as regional connections to nearby cities.

BANGKOK AIRWAYS INTRODUCES Boeing 717

Starting on the 16 November 2000, Bangkok Airways will be flying a Boeing 717 with a capacity of 120 passengers for certain flights on the route Bangkok-Siem Reap and Bangkok-Phnom Penh.
