HOTEL BOOKING SITUATION IN HIGH SEASON

The number of visitors to Cambodia and especially to Siem Reap is booming and we are expecting a record number of tourists for the upcoming high season from October '00 to April '01.

As a result, the room situation in Siem Reap is very tight during certain periods (Jan and February '01) and the hotels have put many enquiries on waitlist. 

We are trying our best to get the hotel preferences of our clients confirmed but it is not in our hands and we depend very much on the hotels, which are hopelessly overbooked on certain dates.

The situation of hotel availability seems to be worsen when time is approaching to the peak months, so it is advisable to finalize your travel plan early, and to get your rooms and flights confirmed as soonest as possible.

This tendency of hotel congestion occurred since last years of 1999 when more tourists become aware that Cambodia is now a safe country to travel. Although there are new hotels in Siemreap coming up, the room capacity is not able to accommodate such an influx of tourists during the peak season.
