Hotel name : Royal Crown Hotel in
Siemreap/Angkor Wat I really liked everything about this hotel except for the fact that I could not leave it in the evening after 430-600pm to walk around because of all the bicycle traffic in front of the hotel street and there were no sidewalks so it was rather dangerous. Instead I did take a TukTuk which made things easy. But you see I am a photographer and was on a mission to get out and about the side streets and take photographs and it was impossible to do it at sunset or sunrise around my hotel except for the trip with the driver to see Ankor wat for the sunrise event. I had a quiet stay, ate dinner at the hotel twice and swam in the pool. That was fabulous and I have some marvelous pics.

Wat Original room request could not be provided, and we were upgraded to a corner suite, with was good, plenty of room and space. Staff were FIRST CLASS, and they all had an excellent command of English. Service was in the main very fast, excellent breakfast, and the french restrauant was, as they said the best in town.

Hotel name : Asia Palace Hotel in
Phnompenh The Hotel was situated at Monivong Boulevard, centrally located. However, almost no reataurant around.A hotel at the riverside would have been more convenient with many different restaurants to choose from. The single room ,I had,was very well equipped almost like at a 4 star hotel. However, the room was so small that I could hardly move. There was no storage space for my belongings,no rack for my suitcase to put on.I had to put it on the ground. In this case it blocked the door.Consequently,I had to leave it on the bed. This was most inconvenient.
The breakfast was very limited for an Europeen, might be better for somebody who loves Asian food.
The hotel cannot be recommended in regard to a single room.

Hotel name : Royal Crown in Siemreap/Angkor Wat
The Royal Crown Hotel in Seam Reap was very good. Friendly staff, very good facilities. Overall very satisfied.
The Asia Pacific Hotel in Phnom Phen was very dissapointing. Not very clean, but most of all staff, especially at the breakfast very unfriendly. No smile, no hello, no thank you. We were wondering if they couldn't hear or talk!!! I think if the hotel is serious about attracting travellers they better train there staff the basic common courtesies! Very different to Siem Reap!!
Ps. Our tour guide was also very good!

Hotel name : Royal Crown Hotel in
Siemreap/Angkor Wat Location of the hotel is just outstanding. A few minutes walking distance to the restaurants and downtown area of Siem Reap. The room was very good especially for a 3-star hotel. The room was very clean, bathroom facilities were very good, greatly appreciated the electronic safe (though security wasn't a problem in Siem Reap), and great Cable TV channels.
For breakfast, the food was very good, but would like to have had more variety and some bacon, ham, or sausage.
One Internet access laptop was available in the lobby, but it was often being used and was slow when I was using it. Unfortunately, Internet service thoughout Siem Reap was a lot to be desired.
Overall, great hotel and value for my money.

Hotel name : Hotel De Paix in Siemreap/Angkor
Wat The overall hotel was very nice and in a great location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was beautiful and very relaxing! Overall food was good, but could use a bigger selection. Our room was big, however, the beds were very uncomfortable. The beds were too hard and the pillows were too soft. The floors and sheets weren't very clean on top of that. They could use a clock in the room as well.

Hotel name : Grande Hotel D'Angkor in
Siemreap/Angkor Wat We LOVED the Grande Hotel D'Angkor!!! It has so much character and charm, and the staff was wonderful. The cold towels when you come in from the hot, humid jungle were divine. It was a wonderful, charming, calming, delightful respite, with superb wine, food, service, attention, and care. Although we've seen Angkor Wat, I would seek out opportunitites to stay in this hotel again.

Hotel name : Sokha Beach Hotel in
Sihanouk Ville
Of all of the hotels we stayed at during our trip, I like this one the best. What stood out for me was the sincere friendliness of the staff. Many hotels have very professional and accommodating staff, but the staff at the Sokha Beach Hotel were also very warm. I had a lot of contact with the Front Desk staff, and liked them so much I spent extra time talking with them. I wish I could remember their names, but all were helpful, pleasant, and interesting. The only name I remember is was called LiLi I think. She's a keeper.

Hotel name : Mysteres d' Angkor Hotel in
Siemreap/Angkor Wat Stayi ng at the Mysteres d' Angkor was great. Owners Pascal and Philippe are very helpful with tips for visiting Angkor. The ambiance is lovely. We especially enjoyed the room outdoor balconies and also the balcony of the dining room.
My only slightly negative comment is that the dinner menu, one fixed price meal, while excellent value and quality, is very limited. But it may not be worth their while to have more alternatives and Siemreap restaurants are only a short tuk tuk ride away.

Hotel name : Cambodiana in Phnompenh
The bathroom could have used some renovation. The tile in the tub was cracked and the toilet did not work correctly. The view of the Mekong at sunrise was worth it all. Please mention to your clients that they should request a room facing the river. The hotel did have a good breakfast which was a little on the expensive side for Cambodia $7.00. You get what you pay for. The little bar at the front of the hotel was a good place to hang out and have a drink and listen to the Cuban Band.
